Not everything that leaves your home belongs in a landfill. When items still have real life left in them, we look for donation and reuse routes first, and we are upfront about what we can and cannot promise.
- 1Point out anything you want donated or reused when you request your quote or when we arrive.
- 2We check condition; donation partners only accept items that are clean and usable.
- 3When a good match is available, we route usable items to donation or reuse channels before disposal.
- 4Whatever has no donation or reuse route is recycled where possible, then disposed of responsibly.

Our honest limits
- Junk Yetis is not a charity. We cannot provide donation receipts, tax letters, or proof of where a specific item went.
- We cannot guarantee that any particular organization will receive your items. Partner availability changes, and condition is always the first filter.
- If a guaranteed donation to a specific organization matters to you, delivering directly to that organization is the most reliable route. We are glad to haul everything else on the same visit.
Donation and reuse questions
Can I get a donation receipt for my items?
No. Junk Yetis is not a charity and does not act as one, so we cannot provide donation receipts or documentation for tax purposes.
Will my furniture definitely be donated?
We try donation and reuse first for items in usable condition, but we cannot guarantee it. Condition and partner availability decide where items actually go.
What happens to items you cannot donate?
They are routed for recycling where possible and disposed of responsibly otherwise.
Have usable items mixed in with the junk? Mention it when you request your quote and we will plan the pickup around it.
